Welcome to my journey with the Pricing Toolkit—a project that introduced me to the intriguing world of user experience. I played the role of a UX Design Lead in this endeavor, where the goal was to simplify pricing in the oil and gas industry.
The Pricing Toolkit was a two-part adventure featuring the Price Viewer and Pricing Handrail. As I joined the team, the Price Viewer was already a part of the landscape, but the Pricing Handrail was waiting to be shaped.
My role as a UX Design Lead was to make this toolkit more user-friendly, bridging the gap between design and development. It was about understanding the real needs and setting clear goals for an improved user experience.
This journey is a blend of practical problem-solving, teamwork, and making tangible changes. So, let's dive into the humble yet impactful world of the Pricing Toolkit. It's about making things work for the users and businesses needs"
Pricing Toolkit Journey:
As I delved into the Pricing Toolkit project, I focused on two critical components: the Price Viewer and Pricing Handrail. The goal was to make the proposal creation process for Petroleum and chemical products hassle-free.

Price Viewer: This was a part of the project already in motion when I joined. It was doing its job, but there was room for improvement. The goal was clear: enhance the user value and business value. My role was to lead UX research, track user behavior, and set a user-centric feature roadmap. It was about user insights.

Pricing Handrail: This was the missing piece, and As a team, we were shaping it. Collaboration with our POC partners was key. I needed to understand their unique needs and set clear UX and product goals. it was about making the toolkit work for its users.

In an Agile framework, every sprint involved design activities distributed among the team. My role was to collaborate closely with developers to ensure that our design ideas came to life seamlessly. It was a journey of problem-solving, no exaggerations.
